Annual Pool Maintenance: 7th to 19th April 2025
Operating since 1860, the venue back then was, like today, a seawater pool, gymnasium, and ‘refreshment’ rooms.
It is Australia’s only indoor, heated and filtered sea water pool and is set to undergo its annual upgrade that will keep it on the leading edge of technology, cosmetic appeal, and ‘thalassotherapy’.
The pool will close from Monday April 7th to undertake works including painting, restoration of the dome and roof, replace all the lighting, update tiles and more.
These works combat the saltwater environment’s effects and ensures the amazing beachfront seawater pool stays safe and enjoyable for everyone.
